The Mt. Tabor Male Chorus Story
The Mighty Male Chorus of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church was organized in 1993 under the leadership of the late Sr. Pastor, Dr. E.E. Stafford. This anointed and frequently saught after male chorus can be heard faithfully every 2nd Sunday at the 11:00am service and 4th Sunday at the 8:00am service at the Mt Tabor Church, located at 6614 South Western Ave., in the city of Los Angeles.
Over these past 20 years the Mighty Male Chorus of Mt Tabor has been featured for numerous events and services. Some recent appearances are:

The pastor of the Mt. Tabor Church is the dynamic, gifted and talented Rev. Dr. Ticey Brown. The president of the Male Chorus is Deacon Anthony Lewis.
This Mighty Male Chorus is under the dynamic directorship of the maestro, Bro. James Miller of Long Beach. He is no stranger to directing and leading Male Chorus’ throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding area. James has successfully directed Male Chorus’ at Holy Chapel M. B.C of Compton, and Little Zion M.B.C. also of Compton. He currently directs the Male Chorus for the Mt Tabor M.B.C. and the Holy Mt. Calvary M.B.C., both of Los Angeles. James, a creative visionary, has also directed, coordinated and conducted an extremely successful annual “All Male Choir” workshop and concert in the state of Texas for the past 19 years.
